Job Description Title: Whole You Marketing Manager Report to: General Manager Division: Marketing Support Location: NY SOHO (Commutable distance to office in Brooklyn, NY) FLSA Status: Exempt General Position Summary This position is responsible for the development and execution of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the Whole You brand in the U.S. by leveraging and further extending the assets and partnership developed over 5 years and will build the Whole You Sleep Appliance business to achieve its goal of being No.1 brand in the dental sleep medicine in the next 5 years. This position inspires and provides a clear direction to Whole You brand to excel in the U.S. market, by contributing to create the culture of Whole You brand where an individual enjoys life, lives his/her unique potential to the fullest, and deliver high value to patients, and customers (Health Care Professionals: HCP) and business partners. This position works closely with*: Whole You Inc. (WYI) o COO as the direct supervisor o Customer Marketing Manager Mitsui Chemicals Inc. (RM) Primary Job Functions - Weight 90% Develop and implement the brand marketing communication strategy of the Whole You brand and Whole You Sleep Appliance in the U.S. Reach out to untreated OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) patients and motivate them to get started and stay engaged with OAT (Oral Appliance Therapy) from Whole You that is prescribed by experienced sleep dentists. Raise the Whole You brand awareness and trial among sleep professionals. Develop and deliver competitive product portfolio strategy and innovative new products and services every year for Whole You Sleep Appliance, based on a deeper understanding of patients and customers insights and industry trends and make the brand top of mind for dentist customers. Propose, lead, and manage the product innovation projects to launch OTIF. Act as a champion and lead the optimization and evolvement of digitalized platforms for both patients and providers, from social media-led patient marketing campaigns, online-based patient path, telehealth-led treatment process, and online ordering process and loyalty program for customers. Build Whole You to be a thought leader brand in the dental sleep medicine industry by actively engaging with and inspiring the business leaders in the industry, dentist and sleep physicians KOLs, and managing the professional community and community programs. Specific Job Responsibilities Develop annual Sales Marketing Goals and Activity Calendar for Sleep business to contribute overall business target in the U.S. Get approval from the COO of WYI and deliver/ execute the plan On-Time-In-Full. Drive marketing programs, targeted to sleep, apnea patients: Contents development: Interacting with patients, identifying the patient insights, developing the engaging ad campaign and ad contents, optimizing the contents based on the KPI tracking and analysis Media planning: Work with media planning agency, Social/ PR agency, web agency to implement, analyze, and optimize the media campaign Drive sales marketing programs, targeted to sleep professionals: Contents development: Interacting with professional customers, identifying the customer insights, developing the engaging ad campaign, ad contents, and promotion programs, and optimizing the contents based on KPI tracking and analysis Media planning: Work with media planning agency, Social/ PR agency, web agency to implement, analyze, and optimize the media campaign Manage product innovation projects and service innovation projects: Market research: Identifying the patient and professionals insights via engagement/ discussion with both patients and professionals and translating them into a product development brief Project management: Managing overall project timelines and facilitating the project discussions with function leaders to ensure the product launch on time in full Develop and evolve digital platform as a unique brand asset and competitive edge in the healthcare industry: Management of existing digital platforms for both patients and professional customers Continuous analysis, optimization, and evolvement of the platforms to stay ahead of the market Lead a thought leadership program with KOLs in the Sleep industry: Community management: Facilitating the regular meetings with KOLs (Professionals, industrial leaders, consultants), co-creating the programs to influence the industry Ensure all the contents and programs are compliant: Discussion with both internal and external Legal and regulatory partners and getting approvals from the internal function leaders Discussion with the corporate auditors and getting activities aligned with the corporate rules Plan and manage annual budget and get relevant approvals Liaise between U.S. team (WYI) and Japan head office (MCI) as well as U.S. Sleep business (RM) and other U.S. affiliate companies. Essential Job Requirements Requirements and Working Environment Working Conditions The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e., working in a business office with computers, printers, and telephones). The Staff Member must be able to travel on business or work beyond normal business hours as necessary. Flexible working style is expected. The Staff Member must be able to accommodate time differences to work with a team based in various locations such as Tokyo and California Domestic trips in the U.S. several times a year are required to visit customers, business partners, or agencies partners. Minimum Qualifications Needed Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, white papers, government regulations, and legal documents in English. Must have at least 5 years experience in Brand Marketing and Consumer marketing including communication development, media planning & buying, and working with multiple Agencies. Must have experience in digital marketing, specifically in Social media (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn), analytics and optimization as well as online contents development. Must have at least 3 years of experience in product innovations, project management, and management of a cross-functional team. Must have experience in managing subordinates.
