About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced operations manager to join our Clinical Operations Team.  As an Operations Manager at Cerebral, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a group of Prescribers, establishing an environment where Prescribers meet all expectations to enable Cerebral to attain our mission of increasing access to high quality, long term mental healthcare. The Operations Manager will work with the clinical leadership team to implement new processes, track performance against targets, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, manage individual performance, and implement a structure for ongoing improvement of clinical operations.

This individual will be responsible for the performance of a group of Prescribers, and is a key leader on our clinical operations team. Key functions of the role include:

• Manage day to day operations of a Prescriber team
• Ensure compliance with Prescriber team policies and procedures
• Address performance issues as they arise
• Support day to day Prescriber questions related to processes and expectations
• Address operational issues as they arise, and collaborate with other members of the Clinical Operations team to problem solve as needed
• Assure appropriate and effective use of technology and applications including the EMR, slack, confluence and others
• Monitor KPI dashboard and address deficiencies

• Responsible for process and outcomes metrics of the Prescriber team including efficiency, productivity and clinical delivery domains
• Review and analyze data, diagnose areas of opportunity, develop and implement improvement plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years healthcare operations management experience
• Preferred: practice manager in the healthcare field
• Preferred: MBA, MHA or similar
• Staff management required, preferably experience supervising 1099 contractors
• Experience with data driven decision making
• Detail-oriented multitasker
• Excellent communication skills including clear written communication, and the ability to effectively interact with all members of the clinical team, Prescribers, and leadership
• Ability to lead a team of Prescribers (NPs, PAs, MDs)
• Advanced proficiency using a computer and ability to learn how to use new computer programs quickly
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment a plus
• Experience utilizing data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau a plus
