Your mission...

As a Product Designer, you'll be embedded within one of our product streams to lead all things design across both our web and app (iOS and Android) products. Whether that be:

• Meeting with our customers to figure out their needs and frustrations
• Crafting new features and flows that delight and enhance our product
• Working with developers to bring your creations to life in a pragmatic way
• Supporting marketing / sales teams to showcase what you've designed
• Analysing data to identify ways to improve existing features, encouraging greater adoption

You'll also collaborate with the rest of the design and front-end team to define universal patterns, components and styles, to help to make our product consistent, coherent and easy to use.

How you will contribute:

1. Ensure our customers love our product - through scaling our user research to better understand their needs and craft a delightful experience to address them
2. Improve engagement - by crafting features and experiences that help our customers better understand the impact of the care they currently deliver and take action to help them improve it
3. Attract new and retain existing customers - by becoming the champion of quality and simplicity, you will ensure the product we ship delivers on its promises and is “10x” better than any alternative, both within our industry and outside of it

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if:

• You have 5+ years of experience shipping digital products and systems, across both mobile and web.
• You have a "product mindset" and understand how design can improve our business and the lives of our customers.
• You enjoy talking with customers to better understand their issues / needs, and know how to capture feedback so it can be utilised by the entire team.
• You're able to work through design problems from beginning to end - understanding data to better define the problem, rough sketching to hone in on solutions, designing flows and features, or working on animations and interactions to bring them to life.
• You've worked with, maintained and actively contributed to a cross-platform design system - this includes everything from developing components to writing documentation to guide their usage.
• You're able to create high-fidelity mockups of your solutions using modern design tools and bring them to life using prototyping tools (we use Figma for most things, but also use other tools when we need too).
• You've worked closely with egineers and product managers to develop, ship and iterate on your ideas, balancing both technical and business constraints, without compromising on quality.
• You're comfortable working independently, but also know when to ask for advice or support from other designers and the wider team.
• You're comfortable communicating with people across the company, helping them to understand the reasoning behind decisions you've made and how design thinking can be applied to solve a wide range of problems.
