Job Overview As a Sales Engineer, you’ll contribute to support the Olive Revenue Teams, and drive vision, mission and strategy around helping our customers onboard to the Olive platform. You’ll meet with customers to facilitate business transformation, success patterns and establish an architectural blueprint as the foundation for migrating existing workloads to Olive. This role will be part of the Strategic Assessment Team, within the Revenue Organization Team. In the role, you’ll identify and assess enterprise workflows to uncover candidates for process automation/augmentation/assurance/assistance. You will build proof of concepts (POC’s) on Olive’s platform to convince prospects and existing customers of the promise that Olive can deliver against. Finally, you will enable customers, partners, and field teams on the best way to position Olive and Olive solutions by explaining technical features and problem-solving potential roadblocks. The Strategic Assessment Team also serves as the bridge between sales and delivery. You will share the framework for program governance, set expectations for system access, identify key points of contact on the customer side, and help finalize the detailed requirements and design before transitioning the account to the Customer Experience implementation teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive the technology evaluation and discovery process of the sales cycle working closely with the sales team as the technical advisor and product advocate. Eloquently communicate on our product as a product owner and evangelist to internal and external stakeholders such as engineering teams and clients respectively. Work closely with product management to drive the vision and strategy of our products, through alignment of our business goals, market landscape, and competitive positioning. Unafraid to build rapid POC’s on the Olive platform by getting your hands dirty using our Solution Development Kits (SDK’s). Being a true customer expert that is deeply connected to the leading edge of the market and our customers to identify key products or features that should drive our business. Follow regulatory and industry standards, ensuring that we are one-step ahead in the market. Having the product engineering experience to inform product design and architecture, always thinking of the long-run. Producing high-level product requirements and iterating those with design, product, and engineering teams. Requirements Overall 7+ years experience with 4+ years relevant experience in software development OR sales engineering Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience Proven experience with technical sales presentations and software demonstrations Experience leading technical discovery of solution architecture and systems integration for IT planning Broad understanding of RPA and intelligent automation tools including AI/ML models, NLP, OCR preferred Hands on experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech etc. a plus Understand Integration and Deployment Best Practices Good understanding of SDLC and solution delivery methodologies Ability to white board solutions and explain complex technical topics to stakeholders Proficiency in .NET, Python, Go software development languages Executive presence and experience working with C-suite and varying levels of customer executives and end users Must be highly motivated, organized, with a strong ability to communicate well with internal and customer stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding project and time management skills; easily handles a fast-paced environment across numerous teams and projects Previous startup experience preferred This position can be remote and does not require a specific living location in most cases At Olive, we're committed to growing and empowering an inclusive community within our company and industry.
