About the Role
Reporting to the Vice-President, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Lead role is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to engage and influence decision-makers and empower employees to deliver cutting-edge AI-driven medical imaging that is enhancing and making global patient care accessible.
You are excited by the opportunity to lead projects to improve policy, processes, and tools across North America. Projects may be related to inclusive hiring, employer brand, strategic sourcing, developing tools and templates. You will work hand in hand with a highly engaged, collaborative People Ops team to focus on building, retaining, and empowering teams. Your Responsibilities
- Establish a new Talent Acquisition function and drive our recruitment strategy aimed at acquiring the best possible talent.
- Supported by our People Operations team, you will be working collaboratively to understand how each department’s people strategy rolls up to the larger vision for successful hiring plans and roadmaps.
- Monitor hiring trends and best practices, and leverage insights to attract talent and help Clarius stand out in the market.
- Partner, advise and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process by understanding hiring needs, coaching and supporting hiring managers in preparing for and conducting interviews, and engaging in the candidate scorecard and feedback process.
- Build Clarius’ brand in the marketplace by providing an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring interactions are professional and timely, and strive for continuous improvement by recommending enhancements for recruitment processes.
- Source and attract top talent to meet our growth plans; build and engage candidate communities.
- Assume leadership of our talent acquisition processes and tools (Greenhouse) and coach hiring managers on their utilization; regularly report on recruitment metrics.
- Build and then provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and mentorship to the Recruitment team.
- Identify opportunities to improve our hiring with an eye to improving candidate experience and implementing recruiter/hiring manager efficiencies.
- Support our anti racism and diversity, equity & inclusion (ADE&I) vision by driving equity for all diverse groups in the selection process and ensuring that all ADE&I priorities align with recruitment plans.
- Collaborate with our People Operations team to evolve onboarding processes to ensure effective engagement of new employees and reduce time to competency.
- Build and promote our employment brand and careers site; work with hiring managers to establish and cultivate relationships with educational institutions.
- Contribute to the HR budget planning with recommendations for annual recruitment budget requirements.

Qualifications
- 5 years recruitment experience, with a focus in the technology or medical industry
- Prior experience leading or mentoring junior talent acquisition professionals.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ideally Greenhouse), including optimizing processes and reporting.
- Proven experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media channels as a candidate sourcing tool.
- Expertise in full-cycle recruitment practices for in-house talent acquisition (sourcing, networking, interviewing, selection, events, branding) with a fast growing and international business.
